OFFICERS

James J. Komadina
President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Komadina has 32 years of diverse natural resources experience in project development, construction and operations, having held senior management positions with major gold producers including Gold Fields, AngloGold and Newmont. Most recently, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Brazauro Resources, a Canadian resource company with operations in Brazil, which was acquired by Eldorado Gold in July 2010.

Mr. Komadina's other experience includes his role as the Senior Vice President, Development Projects for Gold Fields where he led the development and construction of the $430 Million Cerro Corona project in Peru. From 1999 to 2003, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer, North America, for AngloGold Limited where he was responsible for all regional business activities. Mr. Komadina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Arizona, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School of Business.

Tom S. Q. Yip
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Yip has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of financial management including strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and capital structure, reporting and risk management with both private and publicly traded resource companies.

Most recently, Mr. Yip served as the Chief Financial Officer for Silver Standard Resources Inc., a Canadian mining company with a substantial portfolio of silver properties in the Americas. Since 2007, he was a key member of the leadership team to transition from an exploration and development company to a producer. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Asarco, LLC, a copper mining, smelting and refining company, from 2006 to 2007. He began his career in the mining industry with Echo Bay Mines Ltd., where he worked for 20 years holding various financial roles of increasing responsibility, including Principal Accounting Officer and then Chief Financial Officer, before the company merged with Kinross Gold Corporation in 2003. Mr. Yip is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Administration from the University of Alberta.

Robert D. Comer
Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel

Mr. Comer has 25 years of experience practicing natural resource and mineral law in the United States and will be responsible for all legal affairs and corporate administration matters at ITH. He will play an influential role in the Company’s permitting activities at the Livengood Gold Project.

Mr. Comer served at the Department of the Interior from 2002 to 2010 in the executive positions of Associate Solicitor for Minerals, Land and Water, Regional Solicitor and Counselor to the Solicitor. During 2007, Mr. Comer also served as General Counsel and Principal Deputy to the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Alaska Natural Gas Transportation Projects where he helped to establish a new federal office involved with permitting an international natural gas pipeline from Alaska to the Alberta hub. Additional responsibilities included development and implementation of original office programmatic policy, procedures, hiring and procurement. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Comer served as Mining Attorney and Associate General Counsel with Asarco Incorporated, a Fortune 500 mining, mineral processing and specialty chemical company. In that capacity, he performed legal services for their mining and smelting operations. He holds a B.A., cum laude from the University of Colorado in Environmental Biology and Conservation, a Masters of Forest Science from Yale University and Juris Doctorate from University of Colorado’s School of Law.

Shirley Zhou
Vice-President, Corporate Communications

Ms. Zhou has worked as a corporate communications professional for the past 8 years and has combined experience in journalism, financial services, investor relations, corporate communications and strategic marketing with publicly listed equities in both the U.S. and Canada.

Before joining International Tower Hill Mines, she held the role of Corporate Communications Manager for Silvercorp Metals Inc., a NYSE/TSX-listed silver producer, from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, she has held the position of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for several publicly traded resource companies focused on silver, uranium and base metals exploration from 2005. She began her professional career at Canada Stockwatch reporting on publicly listed companies in all industry sectors. Ms. Zhou holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Political Science, History and English Composition) from the University of British Columbia.

Marla K. Ritchie
Corporate Secretary

Marla brings over 15 years experience in public markets working as an Administrator and Corporate Secretary specializing in resource based exploration companies to the Company. Since 2001, she has worked as Corporate Secretary for Cardero Resource Corp. Between 1992 -- 2003, Marla worked for Ascot Resources Ltd, Brett Resources Inc, Golden Band Resources Inc, Hyder Gold Inc., Leicester Diamond Mines Ltd., Loki Gold Corporation, Oliver Gold Corporation and Solomon Resources Limited.
