David Wiens

Chief Executive Officer

David Wiens brings more than two decades of mining finance, capital markets and strategic leadership experience across the global mining sector. Mr. Wiens most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Asante Gold Corporation, where he led approximately $1 billion of innovative financing transactions to support its growth into a mid-tier gold producer while transforming its shareholder register. Prior to Asante, he held executive roles at a number of Americas-focused production and development stage mining companies, including SSR Mining and Bunker Hill Mining. Prior to his corporate roles, he was a mining investment banker at several financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Wiens is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of British Columbia.

Shane Parrow

President & Chief Operating Officer

Shane Parrow is a highly experienced mining executive with nearly 30 years of operational, engineering and project development experience across open pit and underground mining operations. Most recently, Mr. Parrow served as Vice President & General Manager of Kinross Alaska, overseeing the Fort Knox and Manh Choh operations. Mr. Parrow played a key leadership role in the successful development and ramp-up of the Manh Choh project, which was delivered on time and on budget while outperforming feasibility expectations. Prior to Kinross, Mr. Parrow held senior operating and project leadership roles at Argonaut Gold, Sibanye-Stillwater, Barrick and Newmont.

Mr. Parrow holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Montana.

Karl L. Hanneman

Strategic Advisor

Mr. Hanneman has more than 35 years of Alaska-based mining industry. Most recently, Mr. Hanneman served as Chief Executive Officer since February 1, 2017 and has been with the Company since May 2010, during which time he was responsible for assembling the Alaska team and served as the Livengood Gold Project Manager. Prior to ITH, Mr. Hanneman was at Teck where he served as Alaska Regional Manager throughout the period of underground exploration, feasibility study, project design, and permitting at Pogo and then as Director, Corporate Affairs, Alaska for Teck, serving as the senior corporate representative in Alaska supporting both the Red Dog and Pogo Mines.

Mr. Hanneman has led or participated in a number of industry and State of Alaska sponsored organizations, including: Alaska Minerals Commission, Council of Alaska Producers, Resource Development Council and the Alaska Miners Association and Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hanneman serves as a director of Usibelli Coal Mine, Inc., a private company with an operating coal mine in Alaska, and Northrim BanCorp, Inc., a public bank holding company engaged in commercial banking in Alaska. Mr. Hanneman has a B.S. Degree in Mining Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Alaska.

Brian A. LaPlaunt

Environmental Manager

Mr. LaPlaunt has 30 years of environmental management and regulatory compliance experience in the natural resource industries (Mining and Oil & Gas) in the public and private sectors. Projects include Livengood, Flint Hills Refinery, Pogo, Greens Creek and a variety of other mining and military projects as a consultant and regulator. Mr. LaPlaunt holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech – Butte.

Debbie L. Evans

Corporate Controller

Ms. Evans has 35 years of experience in the mine controller and mine accounting positions. Prior to joining International Tower Hill Mines, Ms. Evans was the Mines Controller for the Kensington Mine operated by Coeur Alaska Inc. Prior to Kensington, Ms. Evans was the Controller at the Fort Knox Mine, Chief Accountant for the East Boulder Mine in Big Timber Montana and previously held senior accounting positions at the Stillwater, Round Mountain and ASARCO Mines.

Ms. Evans has a B.Sc. Business Management Degree from Lewis Clark State College, Lewiston.

Richard J. Solie, Jr.

Investor & Community Relations Manager

Mr. Solie has over 30 years of government and public affairs experience throughout Alaska in oil and gas, healthcare and government sectors. Most recently, he worked as Director of Alaska Government & Community Affairs for Denali - the Alaska Gas Pipeline a joint venture of ConocoPhillips and BP. Prior to that Mr. Solie was employed by ConocoPhillips where he managed the Fairbanks regional office as Director of Government and Community Relations since 2000. He also has government and public affairs experience including the Alaska Legislature and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Solie is active in various community and business organizations, including as a Director of the Alaska Miners Association and the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce and Radiant Church. Mr. Solie also serves as the Chair of the Alaska Board of the American Heart Association. Previously, he was elected to two terms on the Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly and served twice the Presiding Officer. Mr. Solie has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alaska.
